SOELECT and CBI become official Apprenticeship employer partners
SOELECT is pleased to announce that as of August 2024, it has officially become a first employer partner with 8 Battery Registered Apprenticeship Programs in North Carolina.
As part of this initiative, SOELECT has also been approved to join the Guilford Works Workforce Development Board as an “Employer Partner” in their Guilford Works Gear Up: ASAP program. This collaboration will focus on providing robust training and employment opportunities, specifically targeting roles critical to the growth and innovation of battery technology.
With CBI, SOELECT, and Guilford Works, we have established roles for Battery Assembly Technicians, Battery Testing Technicians, and Battery Quality Technicians. In collaboration with GTCC and Guilford Works, we are offering positions for Battery HVAC Maintenance Technicians, Battery Machinists, and Battery Mechanical Design Drafters. Together with FTCC and Guilford Works, we have created opportunities for Battery Machine Operators and Electricians.
